Partnership,
done just right.

This marketing partnership supports a small business as it grows both online and within its local community, supporting real business needs without overwhelming the person behind it.

Mon Chêri Crêperie, a woman-owned pop-up crêperie based in Grand Rapids, needed consistent social media support to promote ongoing events and catering services. As the business grew, the owner could no longer sustain both the operational and marketing demands on her own. She needed a partner who could support her regularly and reliably.

Goal

I began with an initial consultation to better understand the owner’s goals, capacity, and the scope of support she had in mind. From there, I built a repeatable marketing process designed to drive ongoing content creation and consistent publishing across platforms.

Together, we implemented a reinvigorated content strategy that was sustainable and measurable. This allowed us to meet regularly and have clear, data-informed conversations about what was working, what wasn’t, and how the marketing efforts were directly impacting her business.

As an ongoing partner, I also take a proactive role in identifying new opportunities, adjusting strategy as needed, and always improving our approach to ensure the work remains aligned with the business’s growth and priorities.

Strategy

In just the first couple months, the value of the partnership became clear. Mon Chêri saw steady growth in its social media following, while average engagement rates increased by more than 60%. Traffic from social platforms to the website also grew substantially over the same period.

Perhaps most notably, the business’s primary digital audience shifted geographically. Engagement and visibility moved away from east-side Michigan cities such as Adrian and Detroit, toward cities within the business’s actual service region—West Michigan communities including Grand Rapids and Traverse City. This shift meant the business was reaching the people most likely to attend pop-ups, place catering orders, and become repeat local customers.
