This project focused on preserving the story of the Arnson’s wedding day through a thoughtfully crafted highlights video.
The goal was to create a wedding video that highlighted key moments from the preparations, ceremony, and reception, all while remaining accessible and affordable. The emphasis was on storytelling rather than scale, prioritizing meaning and emotion over excess.
Goal
Affordability was an important consideration from the start. To support this, I worked efficiently on an hourly basis and planned carefully ahead of the wedding day.
I met with the bride prior to the event to confirm logistics such as arrival time, priority moments to capture, and music selections. This preparation allowed the wedding day itself to unfold smoothly, without the need for additional decisions or interruptions.
On the day of the wedding, I arrived to document the full scope of the celebration from the gathering of the bridal party through the final dance at the reception, capturing both the major moments and the subtle details that bring the story together.
Strategy
The Arnsons received a wedding video that reflects the experience of their day—something they can revisit, share, and treasure for years to come, at a scale that fit their needs.
